Hello folks, this is a thread where you can decide on your job, just post the job you'd like and I will tell you how'd you do in the FFXI world. I promse funny stuff and such.
[glow=orange,2,300]Warrior[/glow]: A meelee character, adept of all weapons, can be quite deadly with dual axes.
[glow=white,2,300]White Mage[/glow]: A spellcaster, specialized in healing allies and buffing them up for battle.
[glow=purple,2,300]Black Mage[/glow]: A conjurer of the dark arts. Making a lot of damagae with your spells, ypou are quite weak against raw strength power.
[glow=red,2,300]Red Mage[/glow]: An adept of the dark arts, of the healing magic, and the meelee battling. They are called the master of all jacks, but since he has so many skills he cannot learn as quick and powerful as others.
[glow=black,2,300]Thief[/glow]: A silent killer, he is quite weak at smaller levels, but as it develops it comes to be one of the most devastating jobs of the game, dealing the dmage from behind.
[glow=gray,2,300]Monk[/glow]: Martial arts master, it attacks with their fists, although through some special items they are quite capable of using kicks as well as fists, multiplying their damage.

Well, for starters, I don't believe those are all the jobs, I mean, Final Fantasy 5 has a lot more than that, like blue mage, mimic, dancer, bard, berserker, ninja, samurai, etc. pretty much like Final Fantasy Tactics.
I generally like Monks, they're cool, but in this kind of game I can't decide by name, as if playing Nevewrinter Nights, I need to know specifics like special attacks, probable damage and accuracy, possible defense, etc.
Hey, can you multiclass in FFIX?

Look Perseus, at least send a PM to everyne you want to enter here asking if they would want to join, just because you say so doesn't mean they will join, I mean, I haven't been able to convince Link on entering N-Master's Adventures, and he exited the Not so official forums RPG too, Lord*Yakov hasn't entered neither and doesn't seems willing to........ noting that FFXI is an RPG as those mentioned (ok, better, but don't spread the word too much). I think Tsukasa will enter, but that's it.

Ok, seems you are the only people who will actually post in this thread, so let's begin:
Mephistopheles has entered the marvelous world of Vana'Diel, a new continent where adventures are easy to find, yet terrible evil lies in the shadows, awaiting to breed into the whole world. Gamemaniac, another adventurer has made it to the shores of San'Doria while Mephistopheles, has entered the bay of Bastok.
Mephistopheles asked for some tips for monks before starting his adventure. A lvl 75 Monk tells him: "You picked good job, monks like me very strong." "Riiiiight......"said Mephistopheles as he ran from the guy who had bought his accout at e-bay. Meanwhile Gamemaniac had already ventured into the forest just outside the walls of the San'Doria Kingdom. He had already reached level 5 thanks to killing some worms and rabbits. But he was at the moment at his mog house, since he had encountered an orc ranger, who powned his hind right into dead land.
Mephistopheles decided to go outside, to search for adventure. He found himself in a very hot desert, called Gustaberg region, a hot environment where lizards and other creautres such as vulturres inhabited. After having a close encounter with a Quadav, a trutle hybrid, half turtle, half man, he quickly leveled into 7.
Mephistopheles and Gamemaniac's path still remains unkown to the world, will they be great or will they fall into oblivion?
Mephistopheles has gained level 7.
He can either go to South Gustaberg, Gusgen Mines, or even stay at North Gustaber, his current position.
Gamemaniac reached level 5, you can go to Orcish Fort, stay at the forest, or go to the shop and see if you can buy new stuff!
Pick one, picking the wrong on will have consecuences, as picking the best one will too.
EDIT: Fix- Switched "Forum" to "Thread".
