Two convicts are locked in a cell. There is an unbarred window high up in the cell. No matter if they stand on the bed or one on top of the other they can't reach the window to escape. They then decide to tunnel out. However, they give up with the tunneling because it will take too long. Finally one of the convicts figures out how to escape from the cell. What is his plan?

I don't know, there could be a way the riddle doesn't states, like, the door is unlocked, he could plan to suicide too, I can't read minds (yet), I can't know what is *his* plan, I can only get to *my* plan: ask for help, LOL, if there are more convicts in the prison, they could help for own benefit, unless the window is like 30 meters high or something like that, if that's not the case, I mean around six meters or so, other convicts can get in their cell when they open the cells (they do it, to take them to work, to eat or something) and help him, others and themselves to get out, if the window is completely unreachable by fisical means, then I think he would suicide.
