Why fight about which is the best?
Get the three of them, you can really get use of some abilities of the Yellow version if you pass them to pokemon on the othe two versions.
Example: In Red version, I couldn't teach Fly to my Charizard, I passed to my Yellow version, taught him Fly in there and sent it back.

I did something similar, Mephistopheles I had the Red Version and my brother had the Blue Version. Since I got my version of Pokemon first, and I had more pkmn than my brother, I told him to transfer his first election pokemos to me. This way, I had the Water one, the Grass one and the Fire one: Squartle, Bulbazaur, and Charmander (God! I still know the names!!!.. how come!?.. XD) And I also remember HOW TO CLONE A POKEMON ;D trick, hehe.. (I'll describe how it works) The trick consists in Turning Off the System (Gameboy Color, Advance, Nintendo 64 with tranfer pack, Nintendo Game Cube with Game Boy Player or Nintendo DS) of the pokemon that is DESIRED to be CLONED when the last message box appears saying "waiting.. do not turn the power off..." A little later could the other Nintendo System be turned off, as the screen will remain frozen for the not-yet-turned-off N-device... By successfully doing so, the other pokemon [the pokemon NOT in the first system to turn off] would be LOST in the transfer, and in its place would appear the cloned one, from the Nintendo System being turned off (first), when the last message box appeared... I once had a 6-pokemon party of only Lvl.100 Mewtwo's, lol

Hmm... yeah, I remember that trick. But a little prob with your explanation: R/B/Y can't be played in the DS.
PS: Why fight?? Because most people don't have lots of money to be buying every version of the current gen. You gotta choose carefully, or just simply select your favorite color/box-art pokémon.

GB and GBC games can't be played in the DS. Only GBA games.

GB games should be quite cheap right now, this topic is getting old.
A cousin has around 10 uncloned level 100 Mewtwos, and another 20 not-level 100. (He catched many Mewtwos in order to get a stronger one, but mine has top speed and special, and almost top HP so I always beat him)

But who would buy GB games now? They would be rare to find, in first place. Mephistopheles: As a really informed Pokémon gamer, I would say, that your Mewtwo doesn't really has max of Speed and Special. How the game manages the variables in leveling up is very tricky.

Yeah, nobody would buy GB games now, specially since they can eb easily downloaded.
As another informed pokémon gamer, I will tell you there are variables which determine the status of every pokémon, now, I don't know them all and stuff, I found a site with the formula and another one with a table, it is not tricky actually, you can know the percentage of the status of any pokémon when you catch it, there is a slight chance of error since the game doesn't gives you decimals while it has them.
Mewtwo's values:
-------- HP-- ATK - DEF - SPE- SPA --SPD |BASE | 106 | 110 | 90 | 130 | 154*| 90 | |MAX | 415 | 318 | 278 | 358 | 406 | 278
A * near a Special Attack or Special Defense base stat indicates that that is the base value for Special in Pokemon R/B/Y.
That information is from gamefaqs, check the max row, those are the max stats for mewtwo at level 100, believe it or not. My Mewtwo has 358 speed and 405 special (Ok, I missed by 1), I think 401 HP, pretty strong huh?

Do you know about EVs, IVs, and DVs? It is a fact that these are the variables affect the Pokémon stats, and they way you train them, which wild Pokémon they fought against, is partly how the game determines how much stats increase in each level.
From the information you posted about your Mewtwo, I can guess you trained it against almost the same type of Pokémon that increased mostly your Speed and Special.
Anyway, let's get back to topic, not to discuss about Mephistopheles's Mewtwo.

LOL
Anyway nobody buys this games anymore, I think, everyone that wants it already has it, you could lock the thread, if no one complains about it.
