Anyone know, from all the new games there has been, the true chronology or order of the zelda games. I know, OoT is the first and A Link to the Past is the last one, but the rest are scarced all over and confused.
Anyways, i love Legend of Zelda and wanna see your posts about it, Later!

Chronnologically? you mean in order of time for Link or release dates? in release dates obviously The Legend of Zelda (That's all the name if I'm not wrong) for NES was the first one, although I don't know all of them and all the dates.

LOL, no he meant the timeline. Which TLoZ happens first and which happens last.
The first one is: TLoZ Ocarina of Time. It is followed by Majora's Mask as it is a direct sequel.(I'm this Link ;D , LOL) The next one's I don't really remember. The real last one is now very confusing. It could be either TLoZ 2 for NES, as Ganon has been destroyed here, he doesn't appear on the game, or it could be Wind Waker, which takes place a lot of years after Hyrule(Hyrule doesn't even exists, and nobody remembers it).
EDIT: "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is said to take place a few decades after the Ocarina of Time."
From Wikipedia. It also says the timeline will be always in discussion as most TLoZ have completely unrelated stories from each other.

Well, I have read about some gameplayers opinions far much, and I agree with some guy's belief:
"there are several Links" XD
He, gave his supporting ideas, but I don't recall very much which they were exactly like, BUT I have some right here that may lead to some similar perception..
1) a male Gerudo (in Ocarina of time, known as Ganondorf) is born once every 100 years... 2) when the Princess Zelda is in danger, "a Link" comes to save her (or the world.. XD), either by beating Ganon or by obtaining the Triforce 3) not all Zelda Games end the same way, actually, in some Ganon is killed (like "The Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past"), or "Ganon is sealed" (like in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time"), or Link gets the Triforce, etc.. 4) also, the eras, wolrds and the events that make "the wolrd's situation and Link's equipment" (having or not a Fairy, a Master Sword, Light/Silver Arrows, the Ocarina of Time, or other unvaluable stuff (like musical instruments, artefacts like pendants, tunics, boots, etc), and SO* that cannot mix wih any other ONE's SAME LINK who must go on ANOTHER DIFFERENT ADVENTURE OR WORLD...
SO* = whaterver thing that may fit in this cathegory
I'll appreciate further participation on this theme, for it is a mistery and might continue ot be.. but is BETTER UNDERSTOOD with more facts and opinions about this ORder of the Legend...
PS: If THIS game tells a Legend, THE LEGEND has to be retold... this is how... (Zelda/peace... Ganon/evil... danger/adventure/QUEST/dungeons/bosses... Link/courage-chosen... ^^)
...Give aids in details that I got misled or mistaken, please...

But Zelda games, DO have a timeline. That's why in some games Ganon doesn't appeared. After TLoZ:OOT, Ganon has to be unsealed, so he can come back.
PS: Also check my previous (and really old) post in this thread.

G has a point there, even though there is a timeline, the places, time, etc, doesn't fit for Link being the same guy (unless he's an elf, but that's completely ridiculous).

We would need to look in more specific details, and even start some research to bring the Game-facts for each Zelda game... and then we could try to make a link to that collected information (as we know of the settings, the endings, the quests, and so on...)

Sincerely, if you couldn't get that information yourself, then I'm seriously thinking I shouldn't have ever gave you the G-Mod rank before. I mean, can somebody tell me how is it possible that one same person can see the rest of the world evolve, even completely life species evolution, without he being very (and seriously extremely) old. Simple, IT ISN'T POSSIBLE. Various Links that's the answer, why they are similar. Because they are in the same family, another simple answer. What Link am I, OOT and MM, another simple answer, lol. Will somebody in the future register as Zelda, probably. Will he really be a Man registering with the name of Zelda, don't know (LOL).

Hey, he was the first to "say it here", for me, games don't need explanations for such stuff.
Hey, elves are inmortal..... and Link has pointy ears like elves... and....... alright, he's not an elf.

Check my first post in this thread. See the part where it says "I'm this Link ;D , LOL". Can't you simply infer it from that??

You can say you're whatever Link you want, I can infer you mean there are many Links, it sounds just like a joke in any form. The topic is now..... like finished? or someone says the contrary?

I'll say finished. *LocksMephistopheles: Yeah, I couldn't hold my anger, and tried to say it in the most respectful way. I know that you smited me, but this time, it's ok.
