Yes, tell us what happened, however. Perseus, you danced so fun in the bar and falled every 5 steps, you maybe forgot it, but those are the effects of the red dwarven ale. And you even saw Kyros when it was not there you called Mephistoteles g and viceversa. You pointed to gamemaniac and said "oooooooooooooooooooh". And what's that singing of "Adventures, we can together enjoy". [glow=yellow,2,300]YOU WERE DRUNK PERSEUS =P[/glow]

Dune: "Cough.... well, it seems I'm getting too old for this."
Magnus: "They are strong, there's no doubt about it, I believe thry have deserved our trust."
Dune: "Yeah, well. You see.... we are guardians of the rune, well, not really as the ancient guardians, but we offered to protect it."
Mephistopheles: "You know where the rune is?"
Dune: "Yes, anyway, It'll be easier if I show you the ancient scrolls."
Magnus: "Ugh... I'll stay here, I'm wounded from the battle."
Dune took us to the Great Library, just by seeing him, a guard that was guarding a door inside lets us pass. We enter a basement with a large hallway, after it, a strange wall with some strange symbols.
Dune: "Ajmaa yetun, drako ignus lait."
The symbols started to glow....... they displayed a great energy, the symbols started to gather energy at the center point, unexpectedly, the energy was thrown at us and swallowed us somehow, I don't know exactly what happened, I could only see an intense light envolving me, when I regained conciousness, we were in a totally different room.
Dune: "This is the chamber of the scripts."
A large golden room, with lots of bookshelves filled with texts, scrolls and books, Tsukasa opened one in his curiosity.
"Tyi'n hasjlen'ru......"
Tsukasa: "What is this dialect? I can't understand it."
Dune: "All the books stored here are ancient drakonyte, all but one scroll."
Mephistopheles: "Drakonyte? what is that?"
Dune: "Come, here is the scroll that has the recquired information."
Labeled: -A letter to future generations-
There was this time, when ancien powerful beings ruled the land, and people were treated like animal scum.
In the beggining of time as we know and have record, many races existed, humans, dwarves, elves, orcs, gnomes, halfings, seraphs, giants, devils, taurens and drakonytes, and each lived seperately ganing knowledge and power, but they weren't enemies, just, other beings.
In that world, there was peace. But that didn't last for long.
As knowledge advanced, wars between races started to emerge, competing for territory, each wanted to own it all, be the leader. But only one could reach that position.
The drakonytes, known as the perfected race, where who got to the top. A drakonye is the breed between an elf and a dragon, having the power of the strogest of beasts, a dragon and with elf inmortality, that's why they called themselves perfect.
Four drakonytes, wih their power were able to uncover the mysteries of magic, leading to world domination, they used their magic upon other races. Drakonyte magic is much stronger than any other, nobody ever knew how they learned it, not even their fellow drakonytes.
Meteor, the final earh magic, could devastate its enemies from the other side of the world, the longest-range magic of all.
White Mute, the final cold magic, strong enough said it could stop time itself, no matter which armor you have, every matter has a point where it stops moving.
Tempest, the final lightning magic, the fusion between a thunderstorm and a hurricane, everything crumbles with such power, it could destroy entire cities in no time.
Annihliation, the final fire magic, the earth itself releasing its power, drawn in a rain of fire, no living thing can escape.
The four leaders of the drakonytes, known only as the bringers of destruction by lesser beings, ruled the world for many years.
One day, all the lesser races gathered, they made an allience against the drakonytes, together they would be free or die trying.
All the races joined their power and will, but knowing a direct strike would never work, they divised a plan: to separate the energies of the drakonytes from their bodies, and then kill the they made their stand at Krelian.
The drakonytes woulnd't let them be a threat, the four great drakonytes went to stop them.
The great battle was too epic to be told in words, the taurens dissappeared, all slaughtered. When the magic was ready, the seraphs betrayed us, they casted a contanmen seal on the curse, but with unexpected reaction. The elves were able to counter the seal by changing the meaning of the curse very fast, encircling the magic into stones, the power drawn separated the plane of existence into several dimensions.
The drakonytes had their bodies separated from their power, also separated from their spirit, the seraphs were imprisoned in a different dimension, but led the devils into another dimension too.
The runes were inscribed with magic, binding the drakonytes where they can't escape, all the rest of us stayed here at the central plane, to protect the runes.
The runes were then separated, one was left at the care of the animals, the dragons and wyrms would take good care of it, another was buried under the ocean, and the last is kept under the desert of Krelian, in the exact spot where the last stand was made, to remember forever what happened.
The runes must never come together, or the magic could be dispelled, only a drakonyte spell could do it, still, it's best not to take any risk.
-For mankind-
Dune: "That is the story, I've been keeping the rune safe, now there are people who want to destroy the runes, that must not come to pass. I fear that I can't be able to stop the enemy, that's why you must take the rune, find the other two and kill the fiends who try to dissolve the binding curse upon the drakonytes, after all is done, take the runes back to me, so that they will be safe again."
Mephistopheles: "Well, then, where's the rune?"
Dune: "At the point where the last stand was made of course, there is a temple a few miles west from here, where the city was originally, there you will find the rune, but be careful, it is well protected."
Mephistopheles: "Alright, let's go."
We touched a stone and suddenly we were back at the library.
Dune: "For your troubles, please accept this gold, it's not much, bu you may find it useful."
Party recieved 6000 gold

Well.... So much stuff we had almost no idea it happen. Well some of it was told as a legend or fairy tale to young ones back on my home town. Yet it was not that much complete nor accurate.
I hope we don't face does four drakonites. They sure would beat us hard.
So we are heading west... great that's close to where my friends are. Keep an eye open and if you see a blue ball near a Camel tell me.

So, we went into the desert again.......
"Since the time passed, the runes have been moved, the one on Tukuar was none of the places the scroll said..... most probably, it was the rune entrusted to dragons and wyrms." I said.
G: "Well, if one was under the ocean, there wouldn't be a way to get it our in the first place."
Mephistopheles: "Not necesarilly, we don't know exactly how much time passed, but oceans may have moved or something, still, under the ocean is not very accurate, the oceans are too large."
Perseus: "We should be getting to the temple quite soon."
gamemaniac: "Wait, look at that camel over there, there is a blue ball at its side....."

Gamemaniac: "That is a traditional sign for my people. Let's walk over there". Tsukasa: "What do you mean by a sign? A sign for what?" Mephistopheles: "Maybe it's like an identification sign". Gamemaniac: "Actually that's exactly what it is. The blue blanket is used so any member of my tribe can identify while far away on unknown places." I continue explaining the sign system while we walk to wards the camel. "The animal substance used to make the blanket blue are special. They have a pattern that only halfings can see. I can't remember the name of the animal, it had something to do with frost. I was never good with social structure stuff. I was always focus on my training. That is something I now regret." G: "That explains the white half moon I see on the blanket." Mephistopheles: "Nice lecture but what's important about it is that some travelers dig small caves through the sand and hide inside to protect themselves from the daylight heat. I guess your friends are down there right?" Gamemaniac: "Your guess is right". Perseus: "Well, let's see if those old friends of yours have some info about the runes". Gamemaniac: "I have a feeling they don't". Finally after so much small talk we arrived to the entrance. I used my katar to reflect some light through a hole on the blanket. We waited some time. Then a blue light shinned from the inside. "Let's get in" I said walking into the hole which was quite big. A whole house could fit inside and even the human wizard could stand straight without touching the ceiling. Old Halfing: "Who dares to visit the exiled ones?" Gamemaniac: "Come on Narmaru, you know you can go back home anytime." Narmaru: "Gamemaniac is that you?" Gamemaniac: " Who else if not" Narmaru: "Come near and have some water." After we drank the water we felt refreshed. Narmaru: "I couldn't sense you. Now you must have train a lot to be that unnoticeable. Yet I have bad news for you." Gamemaniac: "What do you mean?" Narmaru: "Remember the legend about the seven red moons. It seems it is more than a legend. My sister Agrona was killed by some travelers going west. I have already buried her body. I have no Idea who they were but they must have been really strong to kill my sister. It might be that the Hunting of Seeds have started. You must prepare your self the test will come to you." Gamemaniac: "Fidera nor makua Agrona" Narmaru: "Leamru nor makua, Agrona." Gamemaniac: " I'll be ready for the test, don't worry." Perseus: "Don't mean to interrupt but have you heard anything about some runes?" Narmaru did not answer he just nodded and turn off the blue light. Gamemaniac: "The time to talk is over, let's continue our journey." So we left my old friend with as much questions as clouds in the sky. None of the party members other than me knew what happen there nor what awaited me and those near me. Yet it was not the time to warn them, there was plenty of time before THAT danger came to us, came to me. Now this is only an intro to my own story line XD ... maybe later I'll continue with some quest XD but for now let's continue with this quest and storyline. XD Any comments welcomed by PM XD EDIT: Fixed the hyperlink. by Link Edit 2: Thanks Link!! XD That is exactly what I was looking for.

Ehm, note, I guess, since the conflict between codes and stuff, it looks like the spoiler tag doesn't works on this board, at least not on IE, since I don't have the spoiler tag button when I post on this board (and as you can check in my spoiling threads, I know how to use them), and I don't see the spoiler tag, only the code, and since apparently you didn't notice anything, my guess is that with Firefox does work.

Well, the way is clear now.
The temple itself looks like if was torn apart from the desert, like if the wind and the sand couldn't make its way in, not even the outside looks damaged by time.
The temple is quite large actually, it has awesome engravings detailing the battle against the drakonytes, there is a large section for each of the four great drakonyte wizards.
Two large pillars make the path very narrow, in the middle, there is a giant.
Runekeeper: "What is it you wish here?"
Mephistopheles: "We come looking for the rune."
Runekeeper: "The holy rune is here, what is your business with it?"
Mephistopheles: "We need to protect it, some people want to destroy the runes."
Runekeeper: "I can sense you speak the truth, but you will face the same obstacle as everyone else who wishes to see the rune."
Mephistopheles: "Bring the challenge ahead."
Runekeeper: "It is but a simple riddle: How many grains of sand are there here in the desert?"

So much grains of sand. Another riddle: What finishes first, our lives, or counting the grains of sand
